What does washed European linen mean?

Washed linen has been pre-treated to create a softer feel and a more relaxed appearance. European linen is known for its high quality, long fibers, and durability. The result is a natural material that feels soft yet remains strong.

Does linen become softer over time?

Yes. Linen becomes softer and more supple with use and washing. One of its greatest qualities is that it ages beautifully and develops character over time.

How should I wash products from the Lovely collection?

Wash at a maximum of 60°C, preferably with similar colors. Use a mild detergent and avoid harsh chemicals. Linen is durable but benefits from gentle care.

Can I tumble dry linen?

Yes, tumble drying is perfectly fine. It enhances the soft, naturally crinkled texture that linen is loved for. If you prefer air drying, hang the textile, shake it out well, and gently pull the fabric into shape while drying.

Why does linen sometimes shed fibers in the beginning?

As a natural fiber, linen may shed slightly during the first few washes, similar to wool. This is completely normal and usually disappears after approximately 3–5 washes.

Does linen need ironing?

That depends on your preference. If you prefer a smoother look, lightly iron after the first wash to help the fibers settle more quickly. Many choose to embrace linen’s natural texture instead.

How should I store linen?
