Lovely Linen

Take Care of Your Linen

Linen is a living material. It breathes, ages beautifully, and gains character the more it is used. With the right care, your linen favourites will retain their softness, shape and feel – wash after wash, year after year.

Relaxed linen that thrives on movement

Lovely, Misty and Grace are our most relaxed collections – created for real life and everyday use. They are perfectly happy in the washing machine, but appreciate a gentle approach.

Wash at up to 60°C with similar colours and choose a mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals that can wear down the fibres unnecessarily. Tumble drying works well and helps create the soft, naturally crinkled look that defines these collections.

If you prefer air-drying, shake the item out thoroughly and gently pull it into shape while still damp. New linen products may shed a little lint at first – completely normal for natural fibres – and this will disappear after a few washes.

For an extra-smooth start, lightly iron after the first wash. When not in use, linen is best stored rolled rather than folded – helping it keep its shape without sharp creases.

Soft, stone-washed linen with a naturally crinkled look. Designed to be used often and to grow more beautiful over time.

For those who prefer a smooth and structured look

The Classic collection offers a more structured expression with a cool, timeless feel.

Wash at a maximum of 60°C using mild detergent and allow the items to air-dry. Tumble drying should be avoided. For that crisp, classic finish, ironing or mangling is recommended after washing.

Smooth, cool and timeless linen for those who appreciate a more ordered aesthetic. A classic look that lasts wash after wash.

Robust, substantial and full of character

Rustic is the collection with more weight and a clearly defined texture – linen with real personality.

Wash gently at up to 60°C using mild detergent and air-dry on a drying rack. If you prefer a smoother appearance, both ironing and mangling work beautifully for this collection as well.

Robust and substantial linen with a pronounced texture and character. Perfect for adding warmth, contrast and personality to a space.

When the material calls for a different approach

Breezy is our jute collection – a durable natural material that should not be machine washed.

Cleaning is simple: wipe with a lightly damp cloth when needed. A minimal routine that keeps the product looking good for a long time.

Not sure which collection you have at home?

It happens. Start by checking your order confirmation – the collection is always listed there.

If it is still unclear, go by the feel of the fabric:

  • Soft, stone-washed and naturally crinkled points to Lovely, Misty or Grace.
  • Smoother and more structured indicates Classic.
  • Thick, coarse and substantial is Rustic.
  • Natural-coloured jute is Breezy – and should always stay out of the washing machine.

A living material

Linen may shrink by approximately 3–5% when washed. This is a natural characteristic of the material and nothing to worry about. With proper care, linen retains both its shape and function over time.

About light and linen

Light brings life to a room, but prolonged exposure to strong sunlight can affect the colour of linen. To preserve both shade and texture, we recommend avoiding long periods of direct sunlight, especially for darker colours.

By occasionally drawing the curtains, rotating your textiles or letting them rest in the shade, you can extend their lifespan without compromising the feel of your space.

Linen that lasts – and feels right

When linen is cared for properly, it only gets better with time. Softer, more beautiful and more personal. That is why we choose high-quality linen – and why many of our products become part of everyday life for years to come.

Treat your linen well, and it will return the favour.
