At Kardelen AB / Lovely Linen, we care about your privacy. Here we explain briefly how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
1. GDPR – Your Rights
Since May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has applied across the EU. This law is designed to protect your personal information and give you control over how it is used. In short: you should always feel safe when sharing your details with us.
2. What Is Personal Data?
Personal data is any information that can identify you – for example, your name, address, phone number, or email address.
3. Who Is Responsible?
Kardelen AB / Lovely Linen is the data controller. This means we decide how and why your information is collected and used.
4. Why Do We Collect Data?
When you shop at lovelylinen.com, we need certain details to process your order and deliver your products. We only collect what’s necessary – nothing more.
We also use anonymised information (such as purchase patterns and product data) to improve our website, our products, and our range. This data may be shared with trusted partners but cannot be traced back to you personally.
Examples of how we use your information:
- Name and address – to deliver your order. Your address is only shared with our carrier (PostNord or UPS).
- Email address – for order confirmations and important updates about your purchase. We only send newsletters if you’ve subscribed to them.
- Phone number – for SMS delivery notifications.
- Purchase history – used for returns and claims, as well as anonymous statistics.
5. How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored in our business system, protected by a firewall and antivirus software. We do not handle sensitive personal information (such as political opinions, health, or religion).
6. Your Right to Access
You have the right to know what information we hold about you. Contact us if you would like to request a data report.
7. Your Right to Be Forgotten
You can request that we delete your personal data at any time. However, some information (such as invoices) must be retained under accounting law, usually for seven years.
Contact us if you’d like to know more.
